Get Happy!

Sometimes when you're feeling down, you just need a little sunshine.  When I saw these dishes at the local thrift shop, I knew they would be a perfect pick me up!

I loved them because they are beautiful, but when I researched them I fell in love with them even more because I found out they are actually quite special.  This set is from the 1970s, by an artist named Ben Seibel and manufactured by Mikasa.  On Ebay, each plate goes for $25-50!  

 I got this entire set for.....

 $40.00!  OH HECK YEAH.

This goes to show you that even in a small town, at a Salvation Army, you can find buried treasure.  You just have to look :-)
