Today I'm sharing this sweet chiffon bubble dress. Do you ever find a fabric that you can't live without, only to find it's $17 a yard? That is what happened to me with this fabric. I've been "visiting" it about twice a week at Joanns, just waiting for it to go on sale, and Tuesday it finally did!
Of course I got it home and realized chiffon is really hard to work with.
But look how delicate it is! Look how it drapes! Once I got the hang of it I was hooked.
This pattern is GREAT. I've had a great time testing Melly Sews Holiday Collection! This may be my favorite piece I've ever made. Thank you Melissa for letting me test these lovely patterns, it has really stretched my creativity.

What a beautiful dress and little girl! I haven't given chiffon a try yet. I think I need to get over my fear of sewing with knit first!
