For What It's Worth Wednesday

Welcome to the very first For What It's Worth Wednesday! This is a place for bloggers to get real. If you would like to submit something for FWIW Wednesday please email me at alidanicolelee@gmail.com. You can submit whatever you want, a story, a struggle, a photo, anything you want to get off your chest. Getting real is so freeing...you should try it! You do not have to have a blog to submit.

I made a new button for this occasion, and really, doesn't it just say it all?

Feel free to grab the button! Copy and paste this code:

For my first FWIWW post I'd like to show you a photo with a back story.

"This photo was taken the day my mother died. I was setting up for an accessory swap party and I was taking photos of all the pretty (and FREE!) decorations I came up with. It's pretty, right? Every time I look at it all I can think of is the fact that I could have been on the phone with her instead of taking this stupid picture. Maybe things could have been different. Why was a having a stupid party instead of talking to her one last time? This photo haunts me and it probably always will."

I hope to have a reader submission for next week's FWIWW so please email me! Thanks!

  1. A very poignant post, I'd love to submit something but I'd need a better idea of what you're looking for.

  2. Hi there! You can submit anything you want, that's the beauty of it! You can write about your fears, struggles, something that has been on your mind but haven't quite known how to express it. It's basically a place for you to write down your thoughts that maybe wouldn't have made it to your blog for whatever reason. The kind of thoughts that you think but don't share very often. Use my blog like free therapy! It's freeing!

  3. I'm sorry. Seriously, maybe you should get rid of that picture so you can concentrate on your good memories.
