A very important part of re-imagining your wardrobe is taking stock of what is hanging in your closet. I bet if you go in your closet right now and take stock of your bags, scarves, sun glasses and costume jewelry, you would find at least 10 things you never wear. I also bet that if you went shopping in your best friend's closet you would find at least one thing that she never wears that you ADORE. This is why an accessory swap party is so fun!
I sent out an evite to my best girlfriends asking them to bring their unwanted accessories. The rules were simple: you may leave with the same number of items you walked in with. Anything left over from the party would go to Good Will.
I made decorations mostly out out of stuff I had on hand to cut cost.
We had so much fun! I mean who wouldn't have fun getting new accessories?! Look at all these smiles!
Ellie had to be in on the party too!
