Right now, Gabe is TOTALLY obsessed with Bakugan. There is one character in particular that he loves, Masquerade. His wish for his birthday was for me to make him a Masquerade costume, so here is what we came up with:
He basically designed it, drew pictures of what he wanted, chose the buttons, chose the colors. He also used sharpie to put a little more detail on the "hair". Felt was a good choice for the mask and hair. For the "glasses" I used plastic grid that you can buy in the craft store in the embroidery section. I am thinking of painting it blue to make it a little more like the pictures of Masquerade. Instead of making him a ridiculous floor length white coat that looked like something Prince would wear, we decided on a cape. I think it was a good choice, he loves it!

This is so cute. I love that he designed it and you made it for him. My nephew is huge on Bakugan so I made a Vinyl image for his wall and also put it on a T-Shirt for him.Ah, Bakugan!
